St. Philomena’s Hospital has various specialized units such as Medical surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental, Dermatology, Physiotherapy, Ultra sound scanning, color Doppler and Dialysis. The Hospital also has a well-developed X-ray Lab with modern equipment, an Intensive Cardiac Care unit, a bustling Outpatient department, as well as a 24-hour Pharmacy, Trauma care, Casualty, C.T. scan and Laboratory facilities.

We serve people by providing the best services at affordable costs. Hospital fees for paying patients have been kept to a minimum, without compromising the services rendered in upholding our motto “Love, Care and Share” Out of 400 beds in the Hospital, one-fourth are provided free of cost to needy patients. Private rooms in the Hospital have all the facilities boasted by other Hospitals, although they cost a fraction of what private Hospitals charge their patients.

New state-of-the-art Operation Theatre

Our new Operation Theatre was opened on 26th August 2002. With its high-tech facilities, we are now capable of operating on nine patients simultaneously! Advanced surgery is performed in various specialties such as Gastroenterology, General surgery, Orthopaedics surgery, including Arthroscopy and Joint replacement, Urology, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Ophthalmology, including the phaco technique.

Our Dream project

A long-awaited and cherished dream was accomplished on 16th December 2004, with the inauguration of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It has 15 beds, with separate beds for babies born outside the Hospital, complementing our Paediatrics ICU with 8 beds. We offer advanced care with all modern facilities including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ABG monitoring machines, portable X-rays and a Laboratory working 24 hours a day!
Our team includes a Neonatology Consultant trained in the UK, a Pediatrician available round the clock, several resident doctors, as well as trained nurses, with an excellent nurse-to-bed ratio for the utmost attention.
