Dr. Tahir Muhammad is a Psychiatrist with specialized training in the assessment and management of a wide range of mental health conditions. He completed his MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College, Bangladesh, followed by an MD in Psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. His clinical training has provided him with experience in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry and women's mental health. He has also received training in psychotherapy, psychological assessments and neuromodulation techniques including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). His areas of interest include addiction medicine, psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry and community mental health. He has participated in research, academic presentations, seminars and workshops and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based and patient-focused mental healthcare.
