Dr. Vivek B. Maleyur is a Medical Oncology specialist with clinical and academic experience in the diagnosis and management of various cancers. He completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubballi, and a DM in Medical Oncology from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru. He has experience in comprehensive cancer care, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, patient counselling and follow-up care. His clinical training includes exposure to adult medical oncology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, paediatric oncology and gynaecologic oncology. He has also been involved in multidisciplinary tumour boards, clinical research and academic presentations, with publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. His areas of academic interest include lymphoma, leukaemia, lung cancer, gastric cancer and other solid and haematological malignancies.
